Terms & Conditions

Doc Writers provides document processing for licensed insurance surveyors, including identifying, extracting, converting, and merging claim documents into standardised Excel survey reports and PDFs, and uploading approved case documents to insurer portals at your instruction.

You must be a licensed insurance surveyor. You are responsible for the accuracy of your licence and profile details and for keeping them current.

• Submit only documents you are authorised to submit for claims you are appointed to survey.
• Treat automated output as a draft. You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and correcting all extracted data and generated reports before use.
• Your review and submission constitutes approval that the documents and report are accurate and complete. We do not verify the professional correctness of survey reports.
• You remain the licensed surveyor of record and retain all professional responsibility under applicable IRDAI regulations and licence conditions.
• Do not use the service's output for claims you are not appointed to survey.

• Your first 3 processed reports are free as a trial. We may withdraw this offer prospectively.
• After the free reports, each processed case is charged at the fee displayed on the portal at submission.
• Wallet top-ups are non-transferable and non-refundable, except where required by law.
• We may change future fees with notice on the portal.

When you connect a Google Drive folder, you retain ownership and control. We access it only to process cases and return processed files. You may alternatively use a shared Google Drive folder made available for the service.

You own your documents and data. We own the service, software, report formats, and workflows. You grant us a limited licence to process your documents solely to provide the service.

The service is provided on an “as is” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for a claim is limited to the fees you paid for the case concerned.

We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, professional consequences of unreviewed automated output, insurer rejections, loss of data in your Drive folders, or delays caused by third parties. You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from submitted documents, report accuracy, and your professional obligations.

We may suspend or terminate an account for breach of these Terms, misuse of the service, or legal requirements. You may stop using the service at any time; accrued fees remain payable.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Chandigarh have exclusive jurisdiction.
